JD for Analytics Manager
Job Overview:
- The Analytics Manager will lead a team responsible for delivering data-driven insights and solutions to support the organization's lending strategies and decision-making.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing data analyses, developing predictive models, and creating dashboards and reports to provide insights to stakeholders across the organization.
- The Analytics Manager will also be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the analytics team, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and promoting a data-driven culture
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the analytics team in designing and executing data analyses to support lending strategies and decision-making.
- Develop and maintain predictive models to forecast customer behavior, credit risk, and financial performance
- Create dashboards and reports to provide insights to stakeholders across the organization.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business outcomes
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the analytics team, including workload prioritization, resource allocation, and performance management
- Ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to data governance policies and standards
- Promote a data-driven culture by advocating for the use of data to inform decision-making and providing training and support to stakeholders across the organization
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics, and apply them to enhance the organization's analytics capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science)
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in the lending or financial services industry
- Experience in managing teams and delivering high-quality analytics solutions
- Strong proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the organization
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of lending products, risk management, and regulatory requirements is a plus.
