Propelld is a new age lending startup focusing in the education market doing an annual INR 1,000cr disbursal, backed by WestBridge Capital (largest in Financial Services space - backers of Axis, HDFC, CIBIL, AU small finance bank, Sharechat, Mamaearth, etc), looking to grow 20x times in the next 3 years to an eventual IPO. Propelld is set to become one of the largest FinTechs in India over the next 3-4 yrs and hence growth and opportunities will be limitless at

Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Receivable Oversight:

- Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, ensuring compliance with Ind AS (Indian Accounting Standards).

- Accurate and timely invoicing, billing, and revenue recognition.

- Proficient use of Zoho for seamless accounting operations.

2. Team Management:

- Supervise and lead the accounts receivable team.

- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members.

3. Credit Management:

- Evaluate and establish credit limits for customers.

- Develop and implement credit control policies in compliance with Ind AS.

4. Collections Strategy:

- Develop and execute effective collections strategies.

- Monitor and analyze receivables for delinquencies.

5. Customer Communication:

- Communicate with customers regarding overdue payments, credit terms, and Ind AS compliance requirements.

- Resolve escalated customer issues in collaboration with the team.

- Maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication.

6. Financial Reporting:

- Prepare and analyze regular reports on accounts receivable in compliance with Ind AS.

- Provide insights and recommendations wrt to process.

7. Y Proficiency:

- Utilize Zoho for efficient management of financial data and reporting.

- Leverage Zoho capabilities to streamline accounting processes.

8. Audit and Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, Ind AS, and financial regulations.

- Facilitate internal and external audits related to accounts receivable.

Qualifications:

For Chartered Accountant with 1-2 years of experience in Fintech:

- Chartered Accountant qualification.

- 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in the fintech / NBFC sector.

- Strong understanding of Ind AS, financial regulations, and accounting principles.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and Excel skills.

For Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant with 7-8 years of experience in Fintech:

- Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant with 7-8 years of experience in accounts receivable, specifically in the fintech industry or NBFC Sector.

- Proven experience in managing a team and overseeing the entire accounts receivable process.

- In-depth knowledge of Ind AS, credit management, and collections strategies.

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent communication and Excel skills.

Skills:

- Proficiency in Zoho for financial operations.

- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
