PromptCloud - Team Lead - Data Delivery

PromptCloud is looking for an experienced team lead to drive end to end data acquisition projects for Jobspikr (a Promptcloud Product) . In this role, you will be working in the web scraping team with data engineers, helping them solve complex web problems and mentor them along the way. You'll be adept at delivering large-scale web crawling projects, breaking down barriers for your team and planning at a higher level, and getting into the details to make things happen when needed.

JobsPikr (a Promptcloud Product) is a job data delivery platform that extracts data directly from the company websites. It runs on top of automated crawlers powered by machine learning techniques to extract latest job listings directly from the career pages of company websites and delivers the data feed in the form of pre-packaged bundles segregated by geographical regions. Responsibilities :

- Interface with clients and sales team to translate functional requirements into technical design, implement, and support high-performance, highly-available services and infrastructure.

- Improve the efficiency and flexibility of existing systems.

- Build and maintain models for growth and capacity planning.

- Explore and evaluate new technologies and solutions to push our capabilities forward, getting ahead of our customers' needs, getting people incentivized to transform, innovate and continually improve.

- Expertise in problem solving and analyzing large scale data systems.

Prerequisites :

- Between 5-8 years of relevant experience

- Fluent programming skills and well-versed with scripting languages like Python or Ruby

- Solid foundation in data structures and algorithms

- Excellent tech troubleshooting skills

- Good understanding of web data landscape

- Prior exposure to DOM, XPATH, and hands-on experience with selenium/automated testing is a plus

Skills and competencies :

- Prior experience with team handling and people management is mandatory

- Work independently with little to no supervision

- Extremely high attention to detail

- Ability to juggle between multiple projects
