JobsPikr :

JobsPikr is a job data delivery platform that extracts data directly from the company websites. It runs on top of automated crawlers powered by machine learning techniques to extract latest job listings directly from the career pages of company websites and delivers the data feed in the form of pre-packaged bundles segregated by geographical regions. About the Role :

As a Product Owner, you will be leading the product function. The current scope of the role spans JobsPikr, our labour market data platform; as well as a new product we are planning to launch in early 2022.

That candidate should have strong business acumen, data and technology experience in addition to possessing excellent strategy, business partnering and collaboration skills. You are expected to take the initiative to identify high impact projects and work cross functionally to roll out new products and product extensions.

Responsibilities :

- Be responsible for supporting the product vision, defining product requirements, translating requirements into user stories to prioritize product backlog.

- Create effective user stories, acceptance criteria and prioritized backlog to ensure work is in line with experience strategy and requirements are understood by the Scrum team.

- Translate business needs and product backlog into sprint-sized pieces of work

- Prepare product release documentation and support go-to-market plans working alongside the Marketing and Sales team.

- Develops and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment.

- Mentor junior product managers and adopt best practices across product teams.

Requirements :

- 3 - 5 years of core product management experience in a B2B SaaS company is essential.

- A strong understanding of software engineering practices is expected. Though not essential, a computer science background with an MBA would be ideal.

- Past experience working with data-heavy products will be a big plus.

- Excellent oral/written communication and problem-solving skills.

- Please note that someone who has handled product management as a secondary responsibility (like a Business Analyst, or Senior Software Engineer) would generally not fit well for this role.
