Product Manager - eCommerce Platform

We are looking for outstanding product manager to join the ranks of our team and contribute to next generation of eCommerce platform leveraging Java, Big data and Open source tools & technologies .

We- re looking for a technology minded business leader to build, manage and grow our next-generation e-Commerce platform supporting our ecosystem. You will be responsible for driving functionality that creates business advantage. You- ll work closely with our international business units to understand customer and business needs, and to drive consensus around priorities. You need to understand our strategy & business drivers and build out requirements, stories for implementation by the development team. You- ll be accountable for driving adoption of the functionality you build and delivering business benefit.

Responsibilities:

- Work with stakeholders across eCommerce product & internet Services ecosystem across Japan, Singapore, USA, UK and Canada

- Develop product roadmaps through deep understanding of customers, technologies, and business strategy.

- Design and enhance a flexible, scalable, reliable e-Commerce platform - adding new core features related to payment, Identity, super points, coupons and fraud prevention.

- Collaborate with international business units to understand business needs, and drive consensus around priorities.

- Serve as the product owner for the development team in India

- Manage the product backlog for the development team using Agile methodology

a) Write user stories & acceptance criteria

b) Create API definitions

c) Work closely with the team managing other parts of the eCommerce platform.

- Ensure development teams are successful with implementing the features added to the system, working with the engineering & QA teams.

- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to propose new functionality, feature, product or services.

Education Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or engineering from a top institution.

- MBA degree from top Management college/University preferred.

Qualifications:

- 8+ years- experience as Product Manager. Preferably in consumer retail or ecommerce platform product management.

- Internet and retail experience strongly preferred.

- Strong analytical and technical skills.

- Experience with Agile development methodology, as well as experience as product manager for larger projects and roadmap development.

- Passionate about building great products, services and solving customer and technology problems.

- Very hands-on approach - willingness and ability to dig in to solve problems.

- Detail oriented approach to product planning. Motivational leadership style.

- Demonstrated expertise in working with a group of internal or external business partners: setting expectations and delivering results.
