Position Purpose :
The Project/Delivery Manager has primary responsibility of managing and meeting committed timelines and quality benchmarks of predefined set of courseware. The Manager will be responsible for a group of product lines and will interact with Product Management (category manager) group for scope and definition and Sales Group for handover of final deliverable. S/He will also be responsible for leading and managing the team described above. With a finite team size and project(s) ownership, this role will have multi facet responsibilities as a subset and include additional responsibilities defined in this document.
% of Time Responsibility : Key Responsibilities :
45 % : PROJECT/PROCESS Responsibilities :
- Ensure every project commences with all tools, software, infrastructure requirements made available and processes defined. Ensure development process and standards are adhered.
- Co-ordinate with the Project team / ID Team to ensure the tasks and deliverables of reportees meet internal and customer timeline commitment managed within allocated effort-budget and produced to specification (tracking requirements from Project Charter) as per defined process.
- Conduct formal reviews and provide feedback of work products scripted by reportees.
- Be accountable for all decisions regarding the project & quality of projects assigned to team.
- Work with downstream functions for process and hand-off co-ordination during the project life-cycle.
20 % - Product Responsibilities :
- Ensure product adheres to organizational development standards and style guides.
- Maintain requirements defined by the Management through the development and production processes.
- Initiate and conduct regular meetings (kick-off and review meetings) with the Product and project development teams to ensure product requirements are implemented.
- Provide clarity on defined product requirements; translate ambiguous/oral discussions to project requirements to team members.
20 % : Personnel Management :
- Conduct appraisals of team members
- Mentoring the members across all functions
- Understand aspirations of the team members.

15 % : Other Administrative Tasks :

Required :
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
