- Develop and manage the project plan and ensure timely completion of the project deliverables from time to time
- Identify and engage with industry participants and form a traceability pilot a control group comprising brands, framers, processors, traders, etc.
- Conduct process study, capture and document the end-to-end supply chain process, critical events, and data points that need to be captured for traceability requirements
- Develop the traceability requirements: Barcode Labelling, Master Data [Commodity, Stakeholders], Event Data [Tracking data] at each touch point in the supply chain
- Identify the appropriate barcoding and labeling solution
- Evaluate and onboard solution providers for deploying the traceability application and manage the deliverables related to the same
- Deploy traceability application
- Develop a team to support the end users during the project period
- On-board users and conduct user training
Prepare and submit a project report comprising the following area:
- Overall Feasibility
- Identify Driving Factors: Mandatory or Merit Voluntary
- Cost of Implementation: Technology, People, Infrastructure, Hardware, Software & Process
- Business Benefits & ROI
- Consumer Benefits
- Data gathering possibility at each level
- Data Governance and industrial standards
- Standardization Requirements: Process, Practice, Packaging
- Compile the key elements required to achieve national-level traceability
Skills Required :
- A relevant postgraduate qualification in the livestock sector with at least 15 years of relevant work experience in managing and implementing multifaceted development projects.
- Experience in implementing traceability-focused projects
- Strong understanding of the leading governance and implementation approaches to project management.
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) will be an added advantage
