Project Manager - Technical - Pharma/Healthcare

Responsibilities:

Manages projects from scope definition to deployment

Liaisons with client's and company project teams (India and other Geographical locations, i.e., Japan, US and EU)

Defines project scope, approach and understands client requirements

Creates strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning

Plans and schedule project deliverables, goals, milestones

Maintains all project documentation and ensures its currency on the company portal

Directs and oversees project team, manages conflicts within group

Ensures project gets completed within the agreed upon timeframe and budget, maintaining the quality standards

Manage resource utilization efficiently and challenges estimates from team when desired

Conducts periodic meetings with direct team to understand pulse of the project and day to day actions

Maintains work break down (WBS) structure directly or through leads to track status at more granular level

Efficiently identifies and solves / mitigates project issues / risks

Helps the team in troubleshooting and resolving the technical issues (at times himself does it)

Performs team assessments and evaluations

Develops Proposals against RFPs

Eligibility:

Skills

- Comes from a Hard Core technical background

- Hands on with .Net technologies/java/ Database/or other Technologies.

- Have managed minimum 2 large sized enterprise projects of minimum 1 year duration each

- Have managed a technical team of minimum 6 members (direct reports in a project setting)

- Expertise on Microsoft Project and Excel

Education:

- BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or IT or MCA (Other engineering graduates with throughout job experience in IT )
