Project Manager - Startup

Role Expectations:

- Design custom technology driven decision management applications for customers – develop applications with embedded algorithms, analysis, visualization and decision support capabilities

- Lead technology delivery teams and build skills across key technologies to successfully deliver on projects

- Provide visionary leadership to build application development process expertise in order to create robust application development process and technology teams

- Conceptualize and make the best technology choices based on client IT environments and analytics requirements

- Continuously innovate on the best technology wrap around solutions that would best articulate the power of advanced analytic algorithms and enable seamless deployment and integration

Skill Requirements:

Essential:

- Proven experience and expertise in designing and developing custom technology driven decision management solutions- both web-enabled and desktop automation

- Sound knowledge in some of these tools/ technologies:

- SQL, VB, VBA

- Web Technologies (JAVA, PHP, .NET)

- BI/ Reporting tools like COGNOS, HYPERION, CRYSTAL REPORTS etc

- Strong technology background, developing and leading teams in the area of application development. Knowledge of latest and emerging technologies.

- Very good interpersonal skills, able to influence without authority, adaptable to change and possess initiative and creative approaches

- People development orientation and team-building skills

- Top-tier presentation and communication skills

- Self-starter, willing to work in a start up with the motivation to build the organization as the best in the industry

Preferable:

- Prior work experience in organizations in the areas of big data management, business reporting, visualization and / or predictive analytics

- Solution development within the functional domains of marketing, customer relationship management, sales, supply chain, risk management or pricing function – preferably in financial services, technology, retail, CPG, manufacturing, healthcare or telecom industry
