About the company

- We are a fully-funded start-up using bleeding-edge computer science (e.g. artificial intelligence, machine learning, etc.) to re-write the rules of the software industry by building intelligent machines that augment or replace human labor in the technology industry itself! Consequently, we have been inventing new technology in a whole host of areas and we continue to file several patents. We are already working with Fortune 500 clients who use our intelligent software systems to reliably replace manual effort.

- Based across Boston, London, and Bangalore, our team includes several PhDs and graduates from topnotch universities such as MIT, Harvard, Carnegie Mellon, Caltech, Dartmouth, and top rankers/medalists from the IITs and NITs. The senior leadership includes a former founder of a VC/hedge fund, a computer scientist from Harvard, and a former founder of a successful digital media firm. Our team has collectively published more than 100 papers in international journals and conference and been granted over 20 patents. Our board members include some of the most well-known entrepreneurs across the globe, and early clients include some of the most innovative Fortune 100 companies today.

Job Description -

The EM will work directly with the founder and other senior leaders of the company. S/he will fuel the growth of the company by working with three key stakeholders: clients, an engineering team, and our senior leadership to deliver proprietary systems that have high client impact.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Managing the development lifecycle of systems from planning to deployment to post-launch iterations

- Own scoping, project delivery and client communication for multiple projects.

- Building and managing strong client relationships.

- Responsible for successful timely delivery of projects.

- Provide thought leadership and innovation within and across projects.

- Develop and implement specific frameworks and processes for smooth execution.

- Good understanding of SDLC and project management process.

- Scoping and prioritizing activities based on business impact

- Coordinating activities across teams such as business development and engineering for timely releases

- Owning client relationships and managing client expectations

- Identifying new processes for automation to be shared with business development managers

- Project managing timelines, deadlines, feature sets, and releases

- Managing client escalations to ensure timely resolution

Expected Experience -

Approximately 2-6 years with an attitude to learn almost anything.

Expected Skills -

- The systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with a strong sense of ownership and drive

- Experience with agile project management

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- PMP/ Scrum Master Certification is a Plus.

- Experience working with US customers/clients.

- Good planning, problem-solving & debugging skills.

- Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills.

- Impeccable attention to detail

Bonus Skills -

- Experience delivering to clients (and client interactions)

- Developing complex full-stack web applications from scratch

- Experience building responsive / mobile-ready applications

- Experience managing and/or coding in modern web and mobile frameworks (React/Angular, Meteor, Node, Xamarin, CoffeeScript, etc.)

- Experience writing code in Python, C++, Java, and/or Go
