Details about the position:
Position: Project Manager
Location: Mumbai
Requisites:
- At least 4-5 years of experience into Project Management.
- Should have good implementation experience of shared services
- Should have ability to seamlessly engage with multiple functions, plan and prioritize workloads in order to meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication both verbal and written
Responsibilities:
- Be ready to work in a startup environment.
- Will be required to set up the entire SSC framework for HR / Finance / Procurement and others as defined by management
- Project Readiness & Setup
Infrastructure Readiness and Work Environment Set-Up
Ensure that a full project plan is developed, maintained and monitored
Lead in the planning, implementation of the project from startup phase.
Leading the development, negotiation, and completion of service level agreements (SLA) with internal / external customers
Establishing rapport with operating and corporate teams, building effective relationships, and sharing wins and successes.
Ensure complete process establishment and documentation
Translate business needs into clear plans for delivery, measurement and development.
Partner with the HR Systems team to ensure system configuration is in accordance with policy requirements.
- Manage Transition phase
Coordinate between stakeholders, operations team and third party vendors to ensure smooth transition of operations from business to SSC
- Manger Operations
Creating a service-driven environment focused on continuous process improvement
Ensure process & SLA adherence
Work with managers and stakeholders to identify and document critical business issues, process gaps, areas of improvement and suggest solutions and approaches
Maintain effective internal controls over processes and ensuring the integrity of all data and information reported from the SSC
Manage any staffing resources allocated to the project
Take appropriate action to ensure that deliverables and milestones are achieved according to the plan
Ensures project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately
Provide scorecards/dashboards based on defined SLAs/KPIS
- Manage Quality & Compliance
Identify and implement process improvement aligned with the project's strategic goal. Is responsible for generating process improvements that bring about measurable improvement in quality and/or efficiency.
Identify inefficiencies within the team and implement improvements
Ensure process compliance by carrying out audits on a regular basis
- Track & Monitor Progress
Weekly meetings with SSC team to track progress & ensure adherence to process
Monitor daily, weekly, bi monthly, monthly team performance and track milestones
Manage escalations as required ensuring that relevant stakeholders are aware of issues and deliver efficient and timely resolutions
