Project Manager - Production/Cluster Management Operations - Textile

- Overall responsible for achievement of the project goals

- Development of the cluster and ensuring it meets the projected target

- To set up supply chain and monitor it.

- Make decisions on markets, products, pricing as per agreed deliverable and targets.

- Coordinate with team for organizing training workshops and its logistics.

- Liasoning with representatives and Cluster Development Manager regarding project updates, accounting and documentation.

- To train and supervise the identified women to ensure efficient work with desirable quantity.

- Manage and supervise the deliverables at Ambavane with the help of Cluster Development Manager.

- To work closely with the identified beneficiaries by and develop entrepreneurial skills.

- Ensuring project is running in line with the assigned budget.

- To manage and engender good liasoning between organisations.

- To work towards design and product development.

- To send monthly reports of progress to the Cluster Development Manager

- During production, the following deliverables are expected:

- Managing overall production activities from fabric sourcing at cluster level to shipment and dispatch scheduling by coordinating with team.

- Monitoring daily productivity with planned productivity and ensuring that the production targets are met as per the buyer's requirements

- Daily record keeping and inventory management

- Implementing effective techniques to increase efficiency in operation and reducing costing.

- Making the production schedule according to T.N.A.

- To work closely with artisans and ensure the production is on time as per the TNA plan.

Qualification/ Interpersonal Skills

- Preferably Master's Degree in Craft Management and Entrepreneurship/ MBA / Social Entrepreneurship/Operations Management

- Knowledge of textile design/ handicraft/ Production Management/ Operations Management

- Preferable 2+ years Experience in Relevant Field

- Strong Communication and Computer Knowledge

- Leadership Quality

- Ability to understand community and make them empowered

- Good at documentation

- People's management
