Manage regular production support for:

Logistics Planning - transportation and distribution network design, routing and fleet sizing

Strategic and operational KPI identification and performance scorecard development

Carrier sourcing support and lane spend analytics

Warehouse labor estimation and layout design

Support client for RFP response and help them acquire new customers by applying best practices of transportation and logistics planning

Innovation and development of customized solution and decision support tools for logistics planning (applying Operations Research, Statistics and Operations Management concepts)

Process Improvement

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to help client improve their performance, achieve cost reduction, improve service levels and retain customers

- Attain productivity for client's process through brainstorming, new idea generation, process standardization and automation applying Lean/Six-Sigma framework

- Domains: Supply Chain Modeling, Logistics Planning, Transportation Network Design, Operations Management, Project Planning, Process Improvement and Quality

- Logistics Planning Tools: JDA Transportation Modeler, JDA Supply Chain Strategist, PCMiler, MapInfo, Paragon Routing s/w and Genpact's proprietary logistics planning tools: Depot Selection, Network Efficiency Assessment, Back-haul Opportunity Assessment, Resource Prediction, Dock Yard Scheduling,
Shuttle Analysis, Warehouse Carbon Footprint Calculator etc.

- Other Tools: MS Office Suite (Excel/ Access/ Power Point/ Visio/ Document), Business Objects, Minitab, SAS, CPLEX and Visual Studio

- Green Belt Certified: Green Belt certification by applying DFSS methodology for development of transportation network efficiency assessment tool.
