Project Manager - PMP Certified - Construction

Project Workflow (40%):

- Coordinate and collaborate for scope and project requirements with Client Program Manager, Project Leads within project team, and external resources

- Propose and collaborate workload and staffing needs with A/E Studio Manager

- Ensure accuracy in meeting client specifications/criteria, (this is a studio lead function), budget hours and schedule

- Manage and ensure use of Online project management tool to communicate, post project information, and update status of the project deliverables

- Verify Project Leads have completed all required task level activities for a project

- Obtain update from Project Leads on their status of work as it relates to scope and project timeline; communicate these changes with A/E Studio Manager and Client

Program Managers:

- Review AHJ applications, distribute to applicable project lead, review response letters and RFI responses

- Review timesheets for applicability to job related tasks

- Occasionally communicates directly with the client contacts and the clients representatives for project timelines and deliverables

- Provide updates to Client Program Manager of project status and related issues

Quality Assurance/Control (25%):

- Coordinate and check construction documents for compliance with organisation process and document standards as well as client expectations

- Provide feedback on quality to the Studio Leads on team members and provide assistance for any necessary corrections

- Ensure all A/E disciplines complete and process their portions of the Final QA/QC Site Adapt Checklist, if required and as generated by SME, on all projects.

- Communicate effectively with all associate team members to ensure understanding of responsibilities and accountabilities

- Provide assistance within your discipline, or involve appropriate discipline Studio Lead on technical questions or issues

- Verify that research and due diligence with all Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for applicable codes respective to each project location has been completed

Internal Leadership (25%):

- Provide ongoing coaching and training to studio team

- Cross train Project Leads through project assignments on various client accounts served within the A/E Studio team

- Assist A/E Studio Manager in performance reviews

Production (10%):

- Participate in completion of construction documents and verify their accuracy
