Hiring for PUNE Location, for one of the International Bank, for the post of Project Manager (PMO). Exp. required - 7-12 Years.

Purpose of the Job :

- This role is business-facing, working within Global technology services and reporting to the Central Business Manager for Global Technology team, Pune

- Responsibility for all aspects of the project over the entire life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close).

- Must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. Responsible for assembling project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of projects.

- This role is predominantly focused on high level macro activities (shaping, directing & consolidating end to end plans) but at times there will be the need to provide hands-on assistance (during mobilisation stages or where project management coverage is light) - for example there is a need for the candidate to hands-on vendor manage.

Essential Candidate Requirements :

- Demonstrated project management or related experience (e.g. running multiple projects or a delivery focused department). Proven track record of delivering complex enterprise level change across multiple projects.

- Leadership & people (matrix) management ability, motivating employees; experience in a project-delivery leadership role and used to working globally across cultures i.e. multiple location resource & project delivery management - constructing & coordinating plans that are resourced, and delivering projects across, several sites.

- Appreciation of programme & project management planning, full lifecycle management, best practice and standards. Comfortable with implementing & enforcing processes to ensure that departmental quality improvements are continually being achieved. Comfortable with operating at macro programme/portfolio level as well as being able to drill into the micro level project detail.

- Established financial and commercial acumen; understands how to budget, track and control project expenditure

- Appreciation of operating models, the role they play and the value they provide when implementing strategic change over multiple years & locations.

- Relationship and stakeholder management. Ability to rapidly build effective stakeholder partnerships and to help influence/advise decision making e.g. investment choices, delivery options.

- Ability to work with stakeholders on near term execution of plans in parallel to forming strategic direction & roadmaps to achieve longer term, bigger picture, goals.

- Proven ability to prioritise competing demands in a structured & analytical way and to work with partners to agree an optimized pipeline of work. Ability to chair governance forums.

- Worked in a supply chain critical environment and understands how technology adds value to the business and ultimately the end customer.
