Project Manager - Oracle Applications
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Lead the planning and end to end implementation of Oracle EBS R12.
- Develop scope of work statements, project plans, schedules work breakdown structures, resource allocation models and implementation action plans.
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables per client's needs.
- Define the complete end to end phased planning for implementation stages.
- Monitor and track project tasks and resource requirements time to time with phases of implementation.
- Work with client to satisfactorily execution of project plan and schedule.
- Adhere to project timelines to achieve on-time delivery for client
- Track project deliverables and communicate with client sponsors and stakeholders to deliver on-time and within scope and budget
- Manage project schedules, budgets and resource allocations and ensure that the scope and budget are in control
- Works on ERP functional issues that arise from implementations, upgrade, new system features and others.
- Identify the project risks, assess the risks and plan for mitigation and contingencies
- Lead meetings between stakeholders, resources, senior managers and executives to provide project status and follow PMO project reporting
- Collaborate with Technical, Client PMs, developers, DBAs and business users on system requirements gathering, system analysis, design and implementation of new features and systems
- Work with the training department to ensure proper trainings before projects are implemented;
- Apply SDLC procedures and practices for all activities and deliverables
- Coordinate and verify system testing for system upgrades, enhancements, and the implementation of new modules
- Responsible for participating/conducting CAB review meetings and updating the project management calendar, Cutover plans and Application Maintenance Plans
- Partner with business functional areas to improve processes and realize efficiencies
- Liaison with vendors and consultants to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner
- Work with Oracle Support to resolve SR issues with coordination of Functional and technical teams.
- Ensures proper communication within project team; ensures that project status, issues and successes are communicated to project governance and documented appropriately.
- Maintain and publish all project related communications with relevant stakeholders.
- Demonstrate accountability for meeting milestones and delivery with quality.
