The individuals in this group transform our high-quality data, independent research, and technological expertise into well-designed products that delight our clients. The group’s product management, product development, and service teams collaborate with our Client Solutions group to help them provide clients with relevant products and bundled solutions.

The Position:

The Mobile Solutions team is seeking a project manager to be an integral team member in the development and launch of mobile applications. The position will collaborate with the product management, business analysts, design, and development teams to build smartphone and tablet applications. Project managers must act as local experts in agile development process, coordinating planning meetings, daily standups, sprint scheduling, and project reporting. In this role, the project manager will consult and coordinate with the senior project manager in Chicago to synchronize project management methodologies and best practices globally. The ideal candidate will thrive on challenges, have excellent problem solving skills, and promptly communicate project issues and risks to both the project teams and management. This position is based in Navi Mumbai, India.

Key Responsibilities:

- Take initiative, monitor and follow-up on projects, refining local procedures and quickly responding to evolving team needs.

- Act as central point of contact for project status, task status, and workflow.

- Document and maintain feature prioritization through various project documents (ie. Timelines and Dashboards)

- Coordinate the execution of software development with the product, design and development teams as well as any outside team dependencies.

- Identify, track, and manage project risks and issues to conclusion using agile methods, defining and recommending appropriate risk mitigation and contingency plans.

- Coordinate closely with project and product management, design and technology globally on sprint planning, task assignment, velocity, and reporting.

- Provide superp communication and transparency of local project status and process updates to the global team.

Requirements:

- Excellent writing, communication, organization, time management, team work and quantitative/analytical skills

- Be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

- A bachelor`s degree with 3 - years of project management experience.

- PMP or other project management certification is desirable.

- Demonstrated experience in agile software development process.

- Knowledge of investment instruments/markets is a plus.

- Agile project management experience is strongly preferred.
