Project Manager - Mineral Block

Project Manager - Mineral Block will be responsible for coordination and completion of projects activities on time within budget and within scope right from Inception to Operationalization of respective mineral blocks. Oversee all aspects of projects, Set deadlines, assign & reassign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.

Job Purpose:

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

- Closely interact and coordinate with Government, local partner and other officials to expedite the Clearances/ Approvals for the Projects in a timebound manner

- Develop and Share MIS on Project implementation status and schedule of internal and external reporting purpose.

- Developing and administration of assigned program budget; forecasts funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials, and supplies; monitors and approves expenditures; recommends adjustments as necessary.

- Execution of feasibility/scientific studies as per statutory requirement.

Key Challenges:

- Obtain requisite approvals in a timebound manner for execution of composite/mining lease deed as per the provisions of MMDR Act and rules made there under.

- Execution of pre-operational activities in time bound manner.

- Dealing with external stakeholders/local bodies for ensuring timely execution.

Skills & Knowledge:

Educational Qualifications & Certifications - Btech/Mtech in Mining with First Class Managers' Certificate of Competency (Metal) preferably iron ore
