One of the Leading Private Banks in Mumbai is looking out for a HR Technology Implementation Project Manager

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To assess functional requirements and to manage and monitor the progress of HR Technology projects in order to ensure smooth flow of all HR operations; handle projects related to HR (end to end), enhancements, system issues while interacting with Business /Operations/IT /Info Sec Group /Vendor stakeholders and other teams as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assessing functional requirements, scoping, defining objectives, roles and responsibilities

1. Assessing requirements received from functional stakeholders and documenting the same; Review requirements

2. Project Scoping (Agree on start point and end point and dimensions)

3. Define Project objectives, business improvements and capabilities to be achieved at the end of the project

4. Work with IT for FPN Preparation and follow up; work closely with the HR Technology Implementation lead to clearly define roles and responsibilities to achieve timely decision-making and work with the HR Technology Implementation Lead in assigning resources with the right skills and decision making authority as well as provision of all necessary project infrastructures (e.g. hardware, software, access)

5. Overall Project development and IT governance

Monitoring the progress of the projects

1. Tracking / Monitoring project progress end to end

2. Timely review of Project Progress to ensure implementation as per agreed timelines

3. Effectively using escalation matrix to ensure delivery as per timelines

4. Work closely with Functional and IT Sponsors to resolve key issues

5. Mediate cross functional issues faced during project execution

6. UAT test case finalization, data preparation & execution / sign-offs

Control and Reporting

1. Coordinating internally within the Bank for all the deliverables with regard to acceptance, sign offs & commercial milestones

2. Identify, document, coordinate, communicate all planning and resource requirements; Organize project review meetings

3. Ensure project deliverables from Vendor/sis provided

4. Track each component of the project lifecycle to be performed by Vendor/s, within the planned timescales and resource availability ;

5. Monitor and report project team progress to the Program / Implementation Lead and Steering Committee

6. Tight control of scope to meet the project schedule as per Project Plan go-live date.

7. Compilation of project documentation for SOX compliance

8. Follow up with Vendor for timely release/s

9. Ensure that Functional documents / Requirement document / Version control are maintained and Quality checks performed

Experience / Skills required

1. MBA/BE/ MSc/B Tech or BSc IT.

2. 5-8 years of experience which could be a combination of

a. Technical domain understanding of HR / Banking Applications

b. System functional knowledge, related banking/process knowledge and related skills i.e. Analytical, Documentation, Communication

c. Knowledge of HR platforms like Oracle or SAP will be added advantage.

d. Adept at using Microsoft Project

Additional Project related responsibilities

- Error Tracking and Follow up with vendor for timely resolution of the errors and liaison with support team and other technical team for resolution of errors.

- Updating PMS / Project tracker to keep all stake holders informed of the project status

- Post production support as per agreed timeline with Function;Post production review.

- Document system functionalities to incorporate in the process notes

- Payments, fund utilization details for reporting; Arrange for PO issuance payment clearance

- Information Security group discussion and closures of queries raised

- Preparation of User test cases (functional) and working with IT / BTG for technical test cases

- Liaison with functions like ISG and others for penetration testing
