Project Manager - Finance Transformation - Consulting Firm

To do this, Finance Transformation Project Manager must perform the following activities :

- Execute project management activities in all phases of the project (initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure).

- Prepare project plan and schedule for large projects covering multiple functional areas or business units.

- Manage project scope, resources (human, financial etc.) and schedule to ensure that project team members are meeting deadlines and following guidelines.

- Should have strong critical-thinking capabilities to solve problems and think about wide-ranging issues and facilitate decisions.

- Should be able to direct, manage and motivate the project team in multi-vendor and multi country environment.

- Handle escalations and conflict within project team

- Have good working experience in stakeholder management, change management, risk and mitigation plan, implementation and cutover plan.

- Prepare Project status updates, handle Steering Committee Meetings and Project meetings.

- Should have good understanding on Finance processes

Skills Required :

- Experience in project management techniques - Waterfall & Agile

- Experience in project management tools (HP PPM, Clarity, Jira etc)

- Excellent Presentation skills

- Candidate with PMP / Prince2 /CSM certified will be preferred

- A strong and demonstrated interest in consulting and/or advisory client service

- Excellent academic credentials for both undergraduate and graduate coursework;

- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal;

- Willingness and ability to take initiative and learn independently;

- This role may require travel

- 6- 12 years of relevant experience across consulting and/or industry roles, post qualification
