Bridge Project Manager

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the external vendor team in India and in-house engineers to promote technology knowledge/development transfer from the Japanese vendor.

- Ensure smooth communication between the Japanese vendor and the Indian development team including technical perspective.

- Understand project requirements and objectives and provide appropriate direction and advice to both teams.

- Precisely manage project schedules and regularly evaluate progress and quality.

- Anticipate risks and issues, develop appropriate countermeasures, and promptly respond to problems and incidents.

- Coordinate with relevant teams to understand project requirements and goals, and provide appropriate instructions.

Skills & Eligibility:

- Excellent skills in both Japanese and English.

- Japanese : more than N3

- Experience in managing system development projects, particularly in coordinating multiple teams.

- Experience in development using vendors, particularly in India, is desirable.

- Practical experience in project quality management and risk assessment.

- Clear communication skills and a track record of team collaboration

- Knowledge and experience in software development

- Deep understanding, particularly in our tech stack (PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, React, etc.).

Good to Have:

- Experience in cross-cultural projects, particularly between teams in India and Japan.

- IT-related certifications (PMP, Prince2, etc.).

- Practical experience in team building and talent development.

- A passion for and interest in the education field and human growth.

- Comfortable working with ambiguity and small 0-1 phase teams.

- Willingness to take on the challenge of 0-1 phase journey like as Seed/ Series round.

- An ability to work with a sense of end-to-end ownership

- Work as part of the founding team and the counterparts in Japan to align on business priorities.

- Needs to be proficient with Agile development

- Experience in building an in-house development

- Experience on LMS Web Services.

- Proficient understanding of Project managing tools
