Title : Project Manager - Cognos

Summary:

- Should be good in end to end project management

- Should have prior hands on with Cognos tool and DWH concepts

Skills:

- Project Management skills with at-least 2 full (end-to-end) Data warehousing and Business Intelligence (DWBI) implementations

- Experience on DWBI development projects and implementation experience of at-least 2 medium to large end-to-end DWBI projects

- Strong hold on Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence concepts and DWBI life-cycle

- Should have expertise on Database designing

- Prior hands-on experience on one or more DWBI tools (like Informatica ETL, Cognos BI reporting)

- Preferred knowledge of Cognos BI reporting stack of components (like Framework Manager, Report Studio, Query Studio and Analysis Studio)

- Preferred knowledge of Sybase IQ database

- Exposure to Data Modeling

- Ability to prepare clear and comprehensive reports

- Ability to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with essential job functions

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Excellent communication, planning and analytical skills

- Costing and Cost Control - Ensuring the solution development within budgets; Costing of each solution developed

- Preference to Banking domain
