Project Manager - Development - AWS Cloud Consulting/Technology Firm

The client organization is a fast growing Amazon Web Services Premier cloud consulting company with 300+ employees with presence across India, and other international locations including Malaysia, Australia, Singapore, Belgium. They are experts in Analytics, DevOps Cloud Migration, and Application Deployment on Amazon Web Services

Experience: 8 - 12 Years of experience in Software Development with 2-4 years of experience in Project Management. Having worked in large team and complex projects.Have experience and exposure to project management practice and tools. Having prior Java development experience and worked in agile with Jira as tool is a must. Experience in AWS highly preferred.

Education:BE/B. Tech/MCA/M.Tech

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Good knowledge on Project Planning and Project Tracking at macro level Strong ability to manage and execute on multiple project timelines and priorities

- Experience with Scrum methodology and Agile practices. Should have experience to JIRA

- Strong leadership, project management skills, time management, and problem solving skills

- Experience in customer handling and should have working in different project phases.

- Experience in effort estimation, project reporting and status tracking.

- Should have experience in project level budget control, budget and resource management. Internal project status reporting and customer project status reporting.

- Exposure to AWS and other cloud technologies will be highly preferred

- Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms / Java Spring Framework

- Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.

- Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc.)

- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases(Postgress, MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle ), SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)

- Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC

- Strong experience in Java, JavaScript, AJAX, DOJO / jQuery toolkit

- Strong understanding of Web servers (Apache / IIS / Nginx / Web Sphere)

- Exposure to Elastic Search, Load balancers, Cache Layer such as Redis / Memcacheetc will be added advantage

- Strong exposure to operating systems internals (Linux / Windows)

- Strong exposure to development standard and quality process.

- Expertise in Version control SVN / GIT
