Description - In support of the aggressive transformation and growth plan for South Asia, oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of key projects in South Asia with the goal of delivering upon specified deliverables and objectives.

Our client is a global media leader recognized among the most valuable brands world over in their domain of business. They have aggressive growth plans for India which will be driven by new age content initiatives besides traditional media they specialize in and they want to become market leaders within the portfolio they cater to. They are looking for a Project Leader to drive for the business.

Description :

Reporting to the AD - Revenue Management of the business, the responsibilities of the role will include :

- For any given project, define the project scope and objectives with senior management and all relevant stakeholders

- Derive a detailed proposal and project plan that identifies the activities, resources, timelines, milestones, critical path, dependencies, risks and mitigation strategies, etc.

- Consult and work collectively with corporate office, heads of departments and key individuals to identify appropriate resources for the project(s), ascertain workflow or processes, carrying out risk assessments etc.

- Provide exemplary advice on the management and execution of the projects. Develop and share best practices with other Asia-Pacific operations and other regions

- Coordinate and administer all internal resources required to execute the project(s)

- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and workflow

- Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments to ensure successful completion

- Review the quality of work completed with the team on a regular basis to ensure project standards and quality

- Generating project status reports, identifying project hurdles and escalating as and when appropriate

- Evaluate the outcome of the projects as established in the planning phase; conduct comprehensive post-mortem analysis for all major projects.

Profile

The role requires Degree or Diploma coupled with a MBA from a premier B school and 7-10 years of project management exposure, preferably within the Telecom Media and Technology (TMT) sector. The individual must display ability to embrace and manage change, change advocate besides possessing excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, multi-tasking, prioritization and ability to work across a diverse culture is a must. The incumbent must have the ability to foster an environment of accessibility and information sharing besides being proactive and solving a range of straightforward problem. Someone who challenges convention with a logical bent of mind is ideal.
