Agile Project Manager

Years of experience : Total Experience 12-14+ years with Agile Project Management Experience 5-7+ years in Software Product / Platform / Solution development.

Work Location - Bangalore, India as base location

2. Roles & Responsibilities:

- Lead cross-functional teams spread across geography to deliver complex projects.

- Define, monitor and improve critical to success metrics for the success of the project

- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints

- Plan and manage multiple parallel projects

- Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels

- Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities

- Apply best practices to the software development life cycle for projects based on experiences with a number of agile and blended approaches, as well effectively coordinating the implementations across teams using very different approaches

- Interact with Project Sponsors, Project Stakeholders and multiple business and technical teams to define and deliver complex features

- Work very closely with various business stakeholders to drive the execution of multiple business plans and technologies

- Ensure consistent and transparent status updates with all stakeholders (Engineering, Business, Product, Leadership)

- Ensure the following of Scrum and Kanban Rituals as needed

Key Skills:

- Certification: PMP & Agile Scrum Master is must. Any profile without these 2 certifications will not be considered.

- Knowledge or training on SAFe agile framework is a plus

- Strong experience in Project Management Information systems including but not limited to Jira and Confluence.

- Prior extensive experience with agile methodologies, any experience of coaching or training agile practices is a plus.

- 5-7 years of hands-on on technical cloud-based software development experience like Mobile app or Web-app development etc.

- Any prior experience in handling projects on IoT or Big-data is a plus.

- Solid understanding of the current web / mobile app technologies and general ability to ramp up and go deep into based on need.

- Must have managed or worked in at least 2-3 projects end-to-end from planning to delivery closure. Solution must be in production and can be demonstrated.

- Must have managed 2-3 projects with at least 40+ team members.

- Experience building processes, project management, and release schedules.

- Strong project management & cross group collaboration skills.

- Think creatively and critically about product features, architecture, and capabilities with innate curiosity and ability to self-start in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.

- Good problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically

- Master's in engineering or MBA is a preferred.

- Strong leadership and people management skills; ensuring high productivity delivered.

- Web application development / Mobile application development / AI/ML API development.

- Java / J2EE / Micro-service AWS / Azure cloud-based software development
