- Our client a Global Consulting Firm is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in Risk Remediation to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

- This role is critical for overseeing and implementing comprehensive risk remediation strategies across various projects within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk assessment, mitigation, and project management, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams to address and resolve risk-related issues effectively. This is a 12-month extendable assignment.

Responsibilities:

- Risk Remediation Strategy Development: Design and implement effective risk remediation strategies that address identified risks, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.

- Project Management: Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all risk remediation measures are implemented effectively and within the stipulated timelines.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with various stakeholders, including risk management, compliance, IT, and business units, to facilitate seamless risk remediation efforts.

- Risk Assessment and Analysis: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities within projects and processes, prioritizing risks based on their potential impact.

- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of risk remediation activities and provide regular updates to senior management on the progress and effectiveness of remediation measures.

- Continuous Improvement: Continually assess risk management practices and remediation efforts for areas of improvement, incorporating best practices and lessons learned into future strategies.

- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of risk professionals, fostering an environment of accountability, professional growth, and risk awareness.

Areas of Expertise & Skills:

- Experience: Minimum of 7 - 10 years in risk management and project management, with a proven track record in risk remediation projects.

- Risk Management Knowledge: Strong understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and frameworks.

- Project Management Skills: Proficient in project management tools and methodologies, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data and make informed decisions.

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate risk management concepts to non-experts.

- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience leading cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor's degree in risk management, finance, business administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

- Certifications: Professional certifications in risk management (e.g., FRM, CRISC) and project management (e.g., PMP) are highly desirable.

Other Important Information

This is a contractual role for initial 12 month, and is going to be based out of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This position may require travel to various project sites and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
