Description

- Planning project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning project team members to various deliverables.

- Analysing financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.

- Providing financial reports and budget outlines

- Coordinate with Team Leaders to ensure progress and exception reporting occurs on a timely fashion

- Maintain overall Project Plans

- Manage project governance, changes, reviews, resource requirements and budgets.

- Maintain the issues and risks logs and flag appropriately

- Prepare and present a bimonthly summary across all project team areas for presentation to the MD & CEO.

- Own and run weekly meetings, ensuring Team Leaders are prepared and have their materials in advance for circulation. Record outcomes and actions and ensure actions are driven to closure.

- Understand the Business Calendar and key activities in the business to integrate appropriately into the project plan

- Manage the inter-project dependencies to ensure that dependencies are identified and managed for the benefit of the overall project.

The PMO Manager is responsible for other ad hoc duties for the MD & CEO to support the development and delivery of the Strategic Plan.

6. SPECIFICATIONS: QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & COMPETENCIES:

- CA /MBA Finance with 5+ years of experience in the financial sector

Key skills/traits necessary to succeed in this role

- Proven track record of successfully managing projects

- Working knowledge of the business

- Used to working to high degree of autonomy and accountability for own and team goals

- Previous experience of managing a project/programme management function

- Credibility to influence and negotiate at a senior level

- Results orientated with proven experience of implementing projects

- Previous experience of leading change programmes as part of re-organisation

- Problem solving attitude

- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, self-motivated individual having an ability to work individually and as leader of a team
