The duration of the project will be one year and may be extended based on the requirements of the project. He/ She will be leading the team working on this project and will be responsible for delivering the output, research, and reporting, among other things. The Project Lead needs to be a dynamic and collaborative individual who can provide high quality support to the capacity building team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Review trends in school performance from the evaluation process and identify indicators for improvement for case study documentation.

2. Review data analysis from the school evaluation process and report cards to identify particular trends on indicators and determine appropriate interventions to improve school performance on those indicators.

3. Consult with education departments of governing authorities in Delhi to identify best practices being implemented by their respective departments.

4. Study existing interventions in Delhi and consult with other organizations such as NGOs, civil society organizations as well as principals and teachers in schools to understand their perspectives on implementing best practice interventions.

5. Study best practice innovations in school improvement in other states that can be implemented in Delhi.

6. Produce case studies of best practices and innovations across Delhi schools on the identified indicators for improvement.

7. Organize a dissemination workshop for celebration of best practices among schools and discussion on findings from the school evaluation.

8. Collaborate with DCPCR and report on progress on a periodic basis.

9. Ensure timely delivery of outcomes with a strong focus on execution and quality assurance including data validity checks, analysis/ interpretation and editorial support.

Skills required

Experience

- Master's degree in education or a related field

- At least 8-12 years of total work experience with at least 5-6 years experience working in education

- Prior experience in project management and managing a team

- Experience of working and interacting with government

- Strong interpersonal, written and communication skills
