Project Head - Road/Highway/Toll

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic :

- To formulate short term and long term plans for achieving business goals.

- To establish the Standard Operating Procedures and people management framework.

- Set up the direction for O&M across all SPVs and create policy manuals around people, resources and their mobilization.

- Study and implement relevant international best practices and Indian Competitors best practices.

Financial :

- To achieve budgeted revenue target as per Annual Business Plan.

- To drive all operating SPVs for cost optimization and spend within the operations budget allocated.

- To continuously explore alternative sources of revenue for the Project

Customer :

- Interact with Central Government through the NHAI and state Government officials who are associated with the Project.

- For Road users, ensure service levels with respect to number of accidents, potholes, transaction processing ( ideal time 15 second per transaction at payment axis)

Internal Process/Operations :

1. Review MIS and take up red flags during process reviews with the team.

2. Ensure that there is a quick resolution to any operational problems and involve in setting up troubleshooting mechanisms.

3. Implement next generation improvement in process and systems.

4. Ensure the exceptional level of maintenance of the facility.

- Learning and Development

- Engage in competency building initiatives for the team.

Key Performance Indicators:

Measurable deliverables :

1. Mobilization of resources for commercial operations as per schedule.

2. Completion of design and engineering of Toll Systems, Toll Plazas, HTMS Systems, and Civil works for HTMS as per schedule.

3. Income and expenditure for SPVs managed as per budget.

4. Ensure to reduce and have zero escalation from the Client in matters related to CA.

Functional Role :

Operations: Responsible for smooth functioning of operating SPVs in the O&M Phase and to ensure all collectable revenue is collected and costs are kept under control.

TMS / HTMS: Responsible for implementation of processes through automation of systems to ensure all collectables are recorded and collected without losses.

Maintenance: Responsible for maintenance activities of Project sites, provide technical advice and conduct quality audit.

Client Relations: Responsible for establishing and maintaining good relationships with Client, Internal and External stakeholders.

MIS: Carrying out financial and non financial analysis for all SPVs O&M and generate MIS reports.

Security & Safety: Safety Ensuring and Security and Safety at Project Assets.
