Project Head/Chief Operating Officer - NGO

- Byrraju Foundation, one of India's foremost NGOs focused on holistic rural development, is looking for well qualified, dynamic Project Heads/ Heads of Operations with excellent track record in project management and sustainable community/ organization development, and with high levels of social commitment. The job calls for the highest level of social leadership skills.

- Relevant experience will be like Project Heads from corporates / CSR function heads, CEOs or Project Heads of leading NGOs, heads of grass root research and implementation organizations including government programs. Experience in leading trans-national NGOs like Melinda and Bill Gates Foundation, Oxfam, USAID, Ford Foundation will be an added advantage.

- Excellent academic qualifications, minimum Post graduation or PhD, MBA or MSW from leading schools, and highly technology savvy and quite well versed with all Project management tools.

- The job will be based in Andhra Pradesh state, exact locations being Bhimavaram in West Godavari or Amalapuram in East Godavari.

- The age profile will be between 35 to 45 years. Minimum experience will be 12 to 15 years. Ability to create partnerships with various Government departments, all potential collaborators including corporates and other NGOs, with rural communities as the major partner and beneficiary.

- Ability to liaise at all level of the government hierarchy starting from CM, Ministers, Secretaries, and Collectors will be required.

- Fluency in Telugu and English is mandatory

- Excellent track record in Project Management, Community Organizational Development, managing multiple collaborators, leveraging skills to create synergy, and high level of social responsibility will be required

- Excellent academic qualifications, minimum Post graduation or PhD, MBA or MSW from leading schools, and highly technology savvy and quite well versed with all Project management tools. Remuneration is not a constraint for the right candidates.
