THE JOB :

- Establish realistic and achievable budgets for all current as well as future projects, working hand in hand with the MD , the finance and procurement departments and obtain a sign off from the MD.

- Establish realistic and achievable project timetable for all current as well as future projects, working hand in hand with the MD, external contractors, architects and relevant internal team members and obtain a sign off from the MD.

- Deliver all projects in accordance with 1 and 2 above.

- Establish clear processes for supervision and remote monitoring of construction across all projects.

- Set up and monitor strong quality assurance systems and quality control systems for all construction works and activities of the contractors on sites. These systems should be transferable across sites.

- Achieve clearly measurable Cost Savings vis- vis budget estimates. The cost savings could arise from any or all of activities such as: elimination of wasteful processes and activities, elimination of material wastages, avoiding the need for re-work/corrective actions borne out of avoidable errors,inefficient planning for procurement, inefficient project program etc

- Organizing and delivering technical training and professional development programs to improve staff working at all project sites.

- Support MD for business development, i.e for bidding for new development opportunities/JVs through coordinating design, project planning and reaching up to the stage of breaking ground.

THE CANDIDATE :

MUST HAVE CRITERIA (No exceptions) :

- Indian working anywhere in the world

- Civil engineer in the age range of 38-47 yrs (Not more or less)

- Experience in mixed use township projects development

- Experience in Global projects (Africa preferred)

- Experience in working on Developer side

- Experience in handling multiple simultaneous projects

- Experience in leading 2000+cr / 25-30MN USD projects

- Must be a Project management expert (PMP preferred) - budget, cost saving, timelines

- Exposure to quality assurance

- Support and inputs for bidding / new BD

- Must be Entrepreneurial, Self motivated, Strong people manager and Hungry for Growth
