Main Duties :  The Project Director will primarily be responsible for:  Strategy :   - Lead on developing strategies for sustainable transition of communication solutions implemented during previous phase of project;  - Drive innovation across all aspects of project planning and execution; and providing strategic inputs on creative and overall communication strategies;  - Synthesize and share strategic learning from previous phase of program with other relevant project teams;  - Lead on the strategic scale up of the family health communications portfolio;   - Work closely with the research team to provide input to and feedback on research studies;  - Lead on the dissemination and publication of results from previous and current phase of project  Project Management :  - Manage all the projects including relationships with governments, donors, key partners, and other stakeholders;  - Ensure high quality and timely deliverables, in line with the proposed strategy and targets, throughout the life of the project;  - Establish and maintain strong working relationships between the project team and various multi-disciplinary teams, such as ICT, Research and Learning, Creative and Production, Finance and Admin teams, as well as manage vendors and partners to ensure smooth operation and timely completion of deliverables  - Complete monthly, quarterly and yearly internal and external reports at various levels  - Manage financial accountability and standards of quality  - Play a representational role, both for the project and the organization, internally and externally  - Negotiate and mediate when conflicting views / priorities arise  Skills, knowledge and experience required :  - Around 15 years- experience in ICT4D, social and/or behaviour change communication or development. At least three of these years should be at a senior account management level.  - Strong, proven technical project development and management skills and experience, using methodologies such as Agile and/or PRINCE2  - Demonstrated skills in project planning, budget development and management, project work plan development and management  - Experience managing projects in an international development setting.   - Experience of working closely with state or national government in India at a senior level on the strategic development and implementation of ICT initiatives.  - Experience of stakeholder relationship management at a senior level.  - A proven track record of developing and successfully pitching proposals to government or the corporate sector for mobile products or services.  - Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Hindi, and the ability to negotiate tactfully and effectively  - Ability to demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation, planning and organisation, and strategic thinking  - Ability to work on own initiative and organising time effectively within a range of often conflicting deadlines. Capacity to juggle competing priorities and a busy programme of work while working to an agreed strategy  - Good interpersonal skills and the ability to manage teams  - The post will be based in Delhi with frequent travel to project states, as well as occasional national and international travel.
