Progress India Opportunities Fund - Research Analyst - CA

Responsibilities :

- Perform extensive primary and secondary research to build a detailed understanding of the target industry / company

- Collation of macroeconomic data pertaining to economy/industry

- Help in Operations of Running a Fund in terms of booking trades, performing reconciliations, computing NAVs and monthly performance MIS Reports

- Various marketing/database updates on monthly basis

- Generating and executing on leads for marketing the fund and helping partners in all aspects of marketing the fund

Role requirements :

- Ability to work across sectors yet having in-depth exposure to selective sectors

- Excellent skills in valuation, financial modelling with strong knowledge of accounting

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft excel

- Strong quantitative skills.

Educational qualification :

Strong academic background with CA qualification minimum or equivalent

Behavioral skills :

- Intellectual curiosity and self-motivated with entrepreneurial drive; ability to work independently

- High level of attention to detail; ability to work accurately with large amount of data

- Strong professional integrity and ethics; should be a team player
