Program Manager - Video Service Delivery

Roles Title : Program Manager - Video Service delivery

Desired Industry Segment : Multimedia and Communications Vertical

Location : Hyderabad

Position Purpose :

- Ensure product/Service delivery to our customer program as per committed milestones, within budget; meet, manage customer delivery expectations

Responsibilities :

Planning & Organization :

- Build and maintain project plans and milestone in collaboration with Product, Project team

- Organize and review detailed planning in collaboration with various Product, Project team and Customers

Project Execution :

- Ensure agreed program / project plan is delivered on-time, on budget or subject to only controlled and agreed deviations

- Coordinate development between Product , Project, test or other dependent projects

- Lead various team to define priorities & organize problem solving with the respective Team Leads

- Organize & check project deliveries against agreed acceptance criteria and decide on Go-No go for User Acceptance Testing(UAT)

- Act as the key delivery interface with the customer/s and collaborate with them periodically based on specific project needs

- Work seamlessly with the delivery and practice teams based in India and other geographies to ensure receipt of right support for local customer needs

- Responsible for risk management and mitigation actions

Project Monitoring :

- Organize and lead program or project review meetings

- Manage, monitor and report budget costs per project

- Management of program / project risks, evaluate all risks related to the project and defined mitigation plans

- Management of delay : evaluate impact, propose alternatives (in collaboration with product, project team)

- Problem analysis and corrective actions proposal to avoid repetition of such situation

Communication :

- Produce project reports to stakeholder - Internal and external through specified communication (Meetings, Dashboards)

- Early warning notification & escalation, decision process

- Ensure that timely and accurate reporting and communication with internal & external stakeholders

Profile :

- Overall industry experience of 10-15 yrs. or more with Minimum 5 year experience managing a project/solution in an business environment in DTV or OTT media industry

- Track record of success Program delivery and continuous processes engineering/development improvements

- Good communication skills to build up strong relationship, Negotiation skills, decision maker

- Solid experience in DTV, telecommunication and networking systems an advantage

- Strong collaboration & communication skills with the ability to inspire & influence stakeholders

- Strong presentation skills with ability to communicate with customers, senior management and project teams

- Will require travelling to Andhra Pradesh (Bhimavaram ) for customer meeting [10%] monthly basis

Qualifications :

- B.E or M.S. in Engineering

- Project Management Professional qualification, for example PRINCE or PMP

- Working experience and proven track record with at least 5 years in Program and Project Management in deliver of DTV solutions to telecommunication, cable or satellite.
