A not for profit company with vast experience in the field of talent search, has recognized that the management workforce in India is limited and there is an enormous need and scope for people in the management cadre, this is more true in the case of women. Applying our core competence in talent management and executive search we create leaders amongst girls from underprivileged communities, giving them the same platform and opportunity which are a norm for girls from economically well off families.  The main objective of the Katalyst Programme is to give economic emancipation for meritorious girls from underprivileged backgrounds through medium of higher and professional education with specific interventions which include access to technology, mentoring, financial support, hard/soft skills training and customized programs; to enhance the skills of the students to get better jobs. Thus see their footprint on the management cadre of India Inc, increasing the management bandwidth of corporate India through the talent pool thus created. We have over 250 students across Karnataka and Maharashtra.  Reason for hire:  Katalyst seeks to recruit a dynamic individual as Programme Manager, who will resume the leadership role to drive the Katalyst programme in Pune. She will be responsible for strategy development of the programme, identify meritorious students from underprivileged background from the colleges and to enrol them through a pre-defined selection process. She will also have to track the performance of every enrolled student which includes academics, mentor-mentee interactions and hours of training attended by them. While ensuring that the programme is meeting its objective, this person will also have to build new relations with Principals and TPO's of the colleges.  Responsibilities:  The programme activities include;  - Identify meritorious students from underprivileged backgrounds from the colleges and institutions through a predefined organised selection process.  - All the student document will be verified by due diligence agencies for the reference checks and to build own network to get additional information.  - Ensure good performance on academics, mentor /mentee interactions and hours of training attended for every enrolled student.  - Create a pool of mentors, allocate them to the students and facilitate regular mentor mentee interactions.  - Plan and organise regular trainings for the Katalyst students in soft skills, hard skills, computer skills and personality development. The task would include identifying trainers from the industry, educational institutions and self-employed professionals.  - Assist the leadership team to identify and approach donors for fund raising.  - Build and maintain relationships with the Principals and TPOs. Identify new colleges to enrol students on board for the Katalyst programme.  - Participate in the strategy development of the Katalyst programme and create capacity for enrolling deserving students in Pune.  Expected results:   - Number of students enrolled for the programme.  - Identifying and getting on board trainers and mentors.  - Track record of every student enrolled in terms of academics and training.  - Building new relations with prospective Principals and TPO's.  Must Have:  - The candidate should at least be a graduate. MBA or Post Graduate is desirable, ideally in Social Science or Psychology.  - Minimum 5 years of experience in programme management activities.  - She should have the ability to work independently and be a self-starter.  - The person should be matured to take ownership of the programmatic activities and at the same time have empathy for the social sector.  - An ability to manage and deliver projects independently and proactively.  - Program design and evaluation experience  Competencies:  - A - ready to help- attitude and a friendly personality.  - Proactive with an ability to prioritize.  - High level of energy, maturity and commitment.  - An ability to communicate effectively with Principals and TPO's.  - Commitment to accuracy, impeccable attention to detail and follow-through.  - Empathy towards the cause  Availability to travel whenever required for the meetings with the principals, or with the students enrolled. The role will be ideally based in Pune, and it will be a work from home.
