About Company: Our client is a Health Fund Organization. The organization was conceived to accelerate India's progress towards the elimination of infectious diseases by supporting the development of breakthrough solutions which help accelerate eradication of these diseases as well as aggregate funds and deploy resources to finance the development of these solutions to enable better outcomes in diagnosis, treatment, control and monitoring of infectious diseases. About the Role: Title: Program Manager Location: Mumbai As Program Manager, you will be playing a dual role of technical cum managerial resource for specific focus areas and act as a key focal point for these focus area/s and support the Program Director. The role will require developing specific domains, activating the area/s, identification, evaluation and building pipeline of relevant innovations, pitching for supporting these selected innovations, taking these to logical end from lab to last mile by ensuring their scale up plan and implementation. It will require reviewing specific projects or investment opportunities, overseeing and implementing complex programs. The role will require engaging with key stakeholders like government, partners and wider network of players in the ecosystem. The person is expected to travel out of Mumbai as required post Covid-19. Detailed Roles & Responsibilities: Strategic: - Develop thematic focus areas from landscaping to identification of problems and building thesis and strategy - Scouting relevant, appropriate and novel technologies and approaches on thematic focus areas to build pipeline for supporting development of products and processes which can supplement national programs - Design and develop implementation plan for deployment of innovations - Develop state level engagement plan for development of implementation roadmap of innovations Operational: - Ensure thorough assessment and evaluation of innovations for selection and projects for implementation - Portfolio Management comprising end to end responsibility from onboarding projects to closure, follow standard project management processes, performance tracking, review, evaluation and handholding support to projects, ensuring alignment of projects with objectives and expected impact, market access and sustainability. - Will be coordinating and developing scale plan for validated and approved innovations which can be integrated into public health system or private sector - Prepare budgets, reports on project performance - Identifying potential partnerships to strengthen thematic focus areas and portfolio, management of relationship with the key grantees, project owners, stakeholders from government, private sector, domestic and global players. Organizational: - To support fundraising efforts of the organizatgion in generating leads, proposal writing, etc. - Work collectively with cross functional units such as finance, legal, admin, fundraising, communications as and when required and assigned - Will be involved in work-plans, budgets, report writing - Support initiatives as mandated by management of the organization. Qualification, Skills & Experience : - Doctorate or Post graduate in Biotechnology / MBBS and MPH / MD / B.Tech / M.Tech / MBA / B. Pharma / M. Pharma with relevant experience of minimum 5 years is necessary - Proactive, self-starter and able to work independently, and through collaboration and open communication - Past experience in landscaping and gap analysis of infectious diseases, development of thematic areas with a focus on innovations and elimination of diseases is necessary. Experience in one or more of the Focus Areas mentioned above is desirable
