Program Manager - Hospitality Industry

JOB DESCRIPTION - Program Manager (Multidisciplinary)

Key Activities:

Project Management (50+%)

- Responsible for managing considerable sized program.

- Should drive the wall to wall program management and ensures that Company's standard processes are followed.

- Identify and detail out the programs CTQs to the Business and Program teams at the beginning and ensures that the program moves in the right direction.

- Develops detailed program schedules and tracks them very closely by working with delivery teams.

- Should be well versed with six phases of NPI, Wall to Wall Project Management, Agile Project Management.

- Work with Agile teams, and lead SCRUM meetings, and track the program/ projects progress chart using the Agile tools.

- Create detailed reports on the program status and decision points and share those with the Senior/ Lead Program Manager/ steering committees and obtains the approvals and decisions as required by the NPI execution plan.

- Manages the Schedule Cost, Scope and Risk associated with the Program and also highlights any deviations in a timely manner to business.

- Work closely with the delivery teams to ensure handing over the betas to the customer and launching the product on time, on cost and on quality.

- Establishes professional relationships with product managers and other functional managers to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.

- Monitors, controls and ensures that the work required to be performed by the various business functions (Technology, Product Marketing, ISC, Product and Process Quality, Legal, IP) as required by the scope of the program meets the program goals.

- Primary communication interface for other stakeholders till the product completion and delivery.

Strategic Impact :

- Should be able to align with the business goals and be a part of the pipeline creation, business roadmap.

- Ability to understand business and prioritizing the projects within the pipeline for maximum gains. Bringing in long term business success perspective to meet business strategic objectives, rather than short term needs.

- Works in partnership with program managers of other programs which are part of the larger program and effectively coordinates dependencies, milestones, risks, integration goals and deliverables as expected of the master program plan.

- Effectively manages program(s) through development of robust schedules, change control, and Risk/Opportunity closure to meet annual program budget.

- Ensures the programs projects are executed in alignment with strategic goals of the business and the HOS targets.

Business Growth & Plan:

- Ability to direct and manage the process of scope definition and change control, including estimating and negotiations of program contract/ scope variations (change of requirements).

- Should facilitate the Lead Program Manager to exert influence in developing and maintaining Organizational values, systems & culture, process maturity that ensure highest value to the SBG partners & HON customers.

- Establish/Enable processes for effective communication, cross collaboration and coordination across all stake holders for information dissemination and sharing.

- Prioritizes key issues, and takes quick appropriate action with minimal support to resolve prior to program impact.

- Ability to bring in Business know how and best practices to control and reduce program cost and time

- Actively engage and deliver PMO excellence initiatives like Cycle Time Reduction, Compliance & Vitality improvement

- Actively pursue and contribute to VPD, HOS excellence & Cultural Transformation
