Program Manager/Delivery Manager/Senior Project Manager - Java

The Applicant is responsible for guiding the teams in their implementations to ensure that implementations meet or exceed business requirements from a payments perspective. This individual will liaise w/ the head of payments in the US to ensure alignment between geographic regions.

Skills :

- Strong analytical/problem solving skills

- Experience in the payments industry, including vendor management, negotiation, understanding of money flow, understanding of how technology choices impact profitability

- Experience and high level of skill building business cases and analyzing business scenarios

- Strong interpersonal skills

- Strong leadership skills, motivating the team etc

- Understanding of development practices including agile

- Understanding of java software development

Duties Include :

- Aligning local strategy to overall strategy

- Motivating the team and handling HR issues

- Working directly with some payments vendors when required

- Creating presentations regarding status and direction

Requirements :

- Demonstrable knowledge of Java and Database technologies

- 2 - 5 years of experience in a similar role

- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and other web technologies

- Strong analytical/problem solving skills

- Ability to take direction well and work independently

- Desire to continuously improve and learn rapidly

- Strong work ethic

- Professional demeanor

Additional Pluses :

- Is familiar with eCommerce solutions, payments, or other technologies that are particularly relevant to the position.

- Experience working on a scrum team
