Job Purpose: Manage overall management of the Reporting and BI center of excellence. He should be able to plan, organize, direct, coordinate and delegate the work to ensure that all project requirements and objectives including schedule, cost, quality, and security are fulfilled. Skill required - In-depth knowledge of Power BI - Expert on MSBI set of tools (SSIS, SSRS & SSAS) / SSIS - Should have performed detailed data analysis, validations and worked with a various source like RDBMS & files - Experience in SQL & PL/SQL development & performance tuning - Knowledge in the database and information modeling ER, Dimensional, Physical, Conceptual, Logical, hierarchical, semantic, etc.). - Working knowledge of Azure DWH will be an added advantage. Responsibility Internal stakeholder management - Coordination with business on the BI projects requirement gathering, development, UAT, Production deployment. Manage multiple complex Data warehouse projects from concept to production. - Point of contact for business throughout, i.e during and after the project implementation - Able to apply a consultative and collaborative approach to influence business priorities - Understand business needs and desired end-user experience and provides input into the design and technical decisions Project and Team Management - Define requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment. - Track resources and schedule for project implementation. - Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning. - Plan and schedule project deliverables, goals, and milestones. - Identify, track, and escalate risks in a timely manner. - Identify and communicate to all stakeholders. - Maintain project documentation. - Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills. - Maintain and present progress/status reports Involvement in Data strategy - Owns the development of best practices for the Banks BI practice - Supports all data management and data governance practices - Work with the enterprise data warehouse team to ensure re-usable data models are built - Ensure that the business requirements align with the business intelligence and data strategy roadmap INTERNAL Person Specification: Profile Essential Experience Qualifications - Applicant must have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence. With Strong Banking Domain Knowledge. - Must have handled a team of Business Analysts and Power BI developers Relevant Certification - Behavioral Competencies Should have excellent problem-solving and time management skills - Strong analytical thinking skills - Strategic Thinking with Research and Development mindset. - Clear and demonstrative communication
