Program Manager - Credit Financing - AgriTech Startup - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS

- We are currently retained by one of the fastest growing agri-tech player in India (well-funded and established) to hire a Program Manager for their Credit Finance business. Our client is recognized globally for the impact created in farm sector and are expanding at an aggressive scale.

- This role involves creating financial solutions for the farming community. You would be responsible for the entire P&L of that line with focus on Operations, Implementation, Leading the sales team and innovating new solutions. You would be responsible for providing necessary support to all stakeholders and liaising to deliver the best results.

- To be considered in this role, you must come have worked in the Buy Now Pay Later model for a startup and have strong expertise in credit products as well as sales strategy. As this role works with farmers, understanding of rural credit sector is a plus.

- Please note that this role is based out of Gurgaon and requires frequent travel to various states so please apply only if that works.

The key aspects of the role would include:

- Responsible for the P&L of the division wrt overall management

- Create credit products focused around BNPL model specific to the needs of various farming segments and ensuring all distribution strategies are implemented.

- Lead the Sales team in terms of acquiring more clients

- Design risk models for all the credit products keeping company goals in mind.

- Ensure seamless communication between all stakeholders and devise strategies to maximize impact.

- Create and manage all agreements for vendor contracts.

- Guide the team on achieving targets and put down SOPs for all departments.

To fit the bill, you must have:

- An MBA from a Tier 1 institute followed by 5-7 years of experience in the financing industry.

- Must have launched BNPL for a company and taken it to scale

- Strong expertise in building various credit products and analyzing its risks and rewards.

- Excellent communication skills with a knack of working with multiple stakeholders and leading teams.

- An analytical blend of mind with the ability to keep up with dynamic environment.

Good understanding of agri and digital technology, emerging and innovative agri business models including AgTechs and MSMEs, FPOs that are transforming agriculture and allied services is an added advantage.
