Role & Responsibilities :
Day-to-Day Responsibilities :
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Act as client manager for Research projects in the authoring, workflow, disclosures and distribution space. Collect feedback from identified stakeholders and prioritize system enhancements.
- Vet and approve Business Requirements Documentation from the Technology department for changes in the research department's products, processes, and systems.
- Prepare documentation and publication mockups as part of strategic initiatives to improve Research's research product and the production process.
- Devise creative solutions when faced with budget and/or time constraints; work tactically to break through bottlenecks and keep projects on track.
Experience :
Demonstrated experience working in research publications, research product development, project management, or as a research associate in an investment research department is required.
Skills :
- Ability to articulate clear requirements to technology
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated experience of managing highly complex, cross functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Good verbal, comprehension and written communication skills in English with a proven ability to influence without direct authority.
- Ability to quickly assimilate information and understand the context of specific research deliverables.
- Advanced Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, One Note, and Project an advantage.
- Design experience using Microsoft Office and Adobe applications advantageous. Knowledge of graphics and HTML applications highly beneficial.
- A solid understanding of information technology terminology and functions required.
- Evidence of an ability to work under pressure, within tight time-lines and with strict attention to detail
- Ability to analyze a problem independently when armed with incomplete information and to distill conclusions into easy-to-digest summaries for senior management.
- Ability to execute projects and tasks with minimal direction.
- Capable of working in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and to continually re-prioritize tasks.
