Program Manager - Automotive Industry

Key Responsibilities:

- Launch of new products consistent with customer requirements

- Single point of contact for Program & cascade customer requirements to Project Team

- Accountable for Program profit and loss

- Accountable for negotiating the scope of new business with customer

- Lead and manage delivery, resource planning, launch coordination, change control, Project Part Tracker, and single point of contact for customer

- Identify potential issues in advance and coordinate mitigation action

- Accountable for profitability improvement through control of design changes

- Lead communication with customer during program launch

- Leading gateway reviews as part of program management

Required Competencies:

- Bachelors in Engineering with 8+ years of experience

- Experience in Manufacturing, Launch, Design, Account mgmt, Purchasing, Program Management skills

- Experience with different customers (OEM's)

- Manage Cross - Functional Team

- Create customer-focused strategies and value propositions

- Possess fundamental product knowledge

- Internal communication of program / business risk and status.
