Program Head - Liabilities Group

This position is for Gurgaon Location with a leading Bank.

Experience: 10 - 15 Years

Education Background: Engineer + MBA (Tier 1)

Location: Gurgaon

Reporting to (Head - Pan Bank Liabilities Group)

Role Details :

1. To work closely with BU Heads to create BU-wise plans on liabilities business and support in execution to deliver a robust, sustainable, retailized and diversified Liability franchise

2. Leverage bank's product capabilities to enhance product penetration across clients & RMs

Key Responsibilities :

1. Align BU-wise liability strategy in line with Bank's objective towards LCR (Coverage) & NSFR (Stability), progressively enhance retaliation of deposits across BUs

2. Create workable CA strategy & drive CA uplift to impact Cost of Deposits, closely manage cost of Term Deposits

3. Work towards improving the granular Savings deposits from Individuals by way of improving customer engagement

4. Conduct market analysis, feasibility studies, trend analysis & use external information to identify opportunities

5. Scan market & identify emerging trends, peer benchmarking to build Product Vision & Strategy for the respective product teams

6. Liaise with product teams to support building of customer-centric solutions (Digital Banking, API, Sector Solutions, Transaction Banking)

7. Co-create initiatives to enhance customer retention, activation & deepening, support client acquisition with inorganic/alternate sourcing channels

8. Plan, propose, monitor & review liability product programs required to meet business targets, way forward & course correction

9. Support Head - PBLG in driving frontline (BU + Product teams) KRAs to Bank Liability Goals, create appropriate Incentive model, Rewards & Recognition program

10. Enhance BU Synergy with BFIL and CFD for capitalizing on potential opportunity on existing clients

11. Monitor the key metrics & drive initiatives to improve :

a. CIF Penetration of CASA/CMS/Payment Solutions in Asset clients

b. Client-level wallet share in key segments (Affluent, NR, SME, CCBG)

c. Product holding & CMS penetration across bank

d. CASA Ratio, Liquidity Coverage Ratio, Cost of Deposits

e. Share of granular deposits in total liabilities
