Profit Centre Head - Logistics

Profit Centre Head - Logistics with a globally diversified group

1) Responsible for the P&L and key financial target of the logistics business.

2) Should have knowledge in coordinating with Freight Forwarders, Clearing Agents and Other Agencies; devising efficient logistics management system to ensure timely delivery.

3) Should be involved in the set-up and management of the local agency network prior to market entry, initiation and management of the marketing know how exchange between the international branches.

4) Part of operations excellence to oversee successful implementation of operational parameters.

5) Core carrier management and building relationship with air & ocean carriers.

6) Focus on building relationship & business development with key accounts.

7) Optimizing operations productivity through setting up process and monitoring.

8) Optimization of resources and national vendor management.

9) Developing/Managing on key & strategic accounts.

10) Ensure cost effective supply by arresting all unproductive revenue leakages in the logistics value chain.

11) Liaison with Port / Rail / Road operators / other stakeholders.
