Division : Technology & Operations, Technology Reporting to : Head of Hosting Operations and IT Support Services Role purpose We are looking for a Business Continuity Planning Project manager preferably with the experience of setting up the BCP site. A candidate should be with a strong BCP experience who could step in to drive the BCP site creation activity end to end. The BCP Project Manager role will successfully deliver BCP Site in Pune up and running on time, on budget, to Link Group satisfaction and to IT standards and quality. You will be required to manage all PM tasks utilising a mix of Prince 2 and PMBOK methodologies tailored to Link internal methodologies, this will include partnering and liaising with stakeholders from Business units, IT, Operations and external vendors. You will report to the Head of Hosting Operations and IT Support Services and have responsibilities into steering committees and associated approval boards. Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities Successful delivery of the functional BCP Site on-time on-budget: - Perform all Project related administrative activities, including staff meetings, monthly/weekly status reporting, budgeting, strategic planning, documentation, and other activities, as assigned, in a timely manner. - Complete the project(s) to customer satisfaction at agreed level of Quality in accordance with the approved IT Program and Project Management methodologies. - Implement and monitor project activities through the project life cycle. This includes creating and managing as agreed project plans and project functions with project team and reporting on project progress identifying and influencing project stakeholders. - Conduct BIA for the Strategic Business Units and the IT Teams - Plan and Support the creation, maintenance and testing of their various business continuity plans. - Implementing effective governance for project tracking and reporting to ensure timely and appropriate generation, collection, dissemination, storage, tracking reports and financial information. - Developing and implementing a project schedule to meet project objectives within an agreed time frame. Gaining agreement to and monitoring project schedules. Ensuring change control mechanisms are put in place to manage project schedules - Ensuring the correct stakeholders are engaged and considering impacts on their areas and clients. - Determining, monitoring, analysing and controlling project costs and outcomes to ensure they meet financial objectives. Seeking to control costs by using cost management techniques/methods coupled with change control. - Implementing quality assurance processes that drive the continuous improvement of quality. Determining and achieve quality objectives, standards and levels to be included in the project plan. - Utilise an effective Change Control process to formally document agreed changes to - Working with your sponsor to develop effective and implement as needed risk management plans and contingency plans to minimise the consequence of adverse events. - Potential management of external vendors: The above list of key accountabilities is not an exhaustive list and may change from time-to-time based on business needs. Experience &amp; Personal Attributes - Proven successful project/programme management experience preferably in implementing BC/DR Sites or ability to have hands-on involvement of BCP projects - Have strong knowledge on setting up a real estate sites , Networking, compliance and audits related requirements for a new site buildout - Strong verbal and written communications skills , including the ability to effectively facilitate meetings and develop and deliver presentations for various levels of audiences - Ability to work independently while driving and managing activities from concept to implementation - Proven ability to work under defined timelines successfully - Preferred experience in working with various vendors and co-ordinating with them - Proven ability to manage business, operations and technology teams with internal processes with change management focus - Excellent organisational skills, must be well organised with the ability to organise and coordinate others (including clients , vendors and project team members) - 8+ years experience in project management in the Financial Services area, preferably with experience in BCP Site creation.
