Production support/Sr. Production support engineering

- Monitor production systems and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime and ensure high availability.

- Investigate and troubleshoot system failures, errors, and performance issues, working closely with development teams, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders.

- Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users and internal teams by responding to incidents, service requests, and inquiries.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement fixes, patches, and enhancements to production systems while ensuring minimal impact on ongoing operations.

- Participate in incident management, including root cause analysis, problem resolution, and implementing preventive measures.

- Maintain system documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), knowledge base articles, and technical specifications.

- Perform routine system checks, health monitoring, and capacity planning to identify and address potential issues before they impact production.

- Coordinate with vendors and external service providers for issue resolution and system maintenance.

- Collaborate with development teams to deploy software releases, conduct post-release validations, and ensure successful transitions from development to production.

- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization to enhance system stability, performance, and reliability.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.

- Knowledge of ITIL processes, particularly incident management and change management.

- IT certifications related to production support (e.g., ITIL, incident management) are desirable but not mandatory. Monitor production systems and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime and ensure high availability.
