Production Manager - Printing/Packaging

Job Title - Production Manager

Department - Production

Location - Egypt

Reports to Unit Head.

Objective - Responsible for the entire gamut of production activities for the department

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- To set & achieve the departmental objectives in order to ensure alignment with the units goals & objective

- Implementation of quality systems & procedure

- To keep the employee engagement level high

- Should develop the skill level of employees

- Review & rationalize the production plan in order to improve productivity, asset utilization & reduce scrap

- Shift scheduling & managing the manpower in order to optimize the manpower allocation

- Review, analyze & monitor the production log book & machine history book in order to maintain optimum output & reduce scrap

- Review & take corrective action on the internal customer complaints in order to minimize the customer complaints & ensure product quality

- To generate monthly MIS of the department in order to provide timely decision making support

- Stock monitoring & controlling in order to ensure compliance inventory policy & to get an update on daily stock

- To ensure the preventive maintenance is conducted as per schedule in order to maximize machine availability

- Monitor & control all expenses in the department to keep expenses within budget

- To plan & perform the improvement related activities in the department.

- Review production activities constantly to ensure maximum output, minimize rejections/ wastage and zero customer complaints.

- Improve commercial efficiency in production operation
