Role details:

- Title / Designation: VP - Production

- Reporting to: Managing Director

- Location: Gummidipoondi / Sricity

Role & responsibilities:

- Plan and develop production schedules.

- Determine and procure necessary resources, ensuring adequate stock levels.

- Select equipment and oversee its maintenance.

- Establish and enforce quality standards.

- Estimate costs and negotiate budgets with clients and managers to ensure cost-effectiveness.

- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as necessary.

- Supervise productivity rates and implement quality control programs.

- Coordinate equipment repairs as needed.

- Liaise with various departments, teams, and external stakeholders such as suppliers, managers, and clients.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.

- Ensure timely completion of customer orders within budget and meeting quality standards.

- Collaborate with the team to implement company policies and goals.

- Analyze production data and prepare reports for factory managers and customers.

- Supervise and motivate a team of workers.

- Evaluate worker performance and identify training needs.

- Actively participate in Quality Management System (QMS) activities.

Candidate requirements:

- Proven experience in production management, with a minimum of 14 years of experience.

- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.

- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

- Proficiency in analyzing data and preparing reports.

- Ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively.

- Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations.

- Experience with Quality Management Systems is desirable.
