Production Head - Pharma/Healthcare

POSITION PURPOSE [ Hand-on Exposure into OSD/Liquid oral/Suppository/External Preparation a MUST and should be only from PHARMA/ HEALTHCARE Company]

- Responsible to implement & monitor the production plan order to meet the projected targets of the production department

- To ensure c-GMP compliance at manufacturing and packaging area

- To fulfill the market requirement and priority, rescheduling of production planning

- Extensive experience & knowledge of OSD/Liquid oral/Suppository/External Preparation.

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Responsible to implement & monitor the production plan order to meet the projected targets of the production department.

2. To ensure c-GMP compliance at manufacturing and packaging area.

3. Planning and execution of daily activity and company policy in the department.

4. To fulfill the market requirement and priority, rescheduling of production planning.

5. Co-ordination with cross functional team for day-to-day activity.

6. Responsible to implement SOP & other laid down procedures in the production activities.

7. To support investigational activities related to market complaint or any batch failure.

8. Responsible to check and implement the QMS related activities.

9. Responsible for review of QMS documents (CCP, Deviation, Incidence, Risk management & CAPA etc).

10. To implement CAPA & their effectiveness at working place.

11. To perform internal audit for system enhancement at working area and cross functional team.

12. Responsible for compliance of internal audit and regulatory audit.

13. Responsible for co-ordination with maintenance for preventive maintenance of all equipment to minimize the down time of the equipment, loss of productivity and to ensure product quality in all stages.

14. Responsible for annual department budget preparation.

15. Responsible to review and check the batch records, additional material requisition forms, excess material return form, deviation approval form, change control and SOPs.

16. Responsible for doing transaction in SAP system related manufacturing, Packing, BMR/BPR checking, Approval of Purchase requisition (PR).

17. Responsible to doing transaction in caliber QAMS and caliber DMS.

18. Responsible to attend the daily meeting & other functional meetings.

19. Responsible to maintain the quality of product at each stage as per acceptable quality standards.

20. Responsible to ensure that products are produced and stored according to the appropriate documentation in order to obtain the required quality.

21. To ensure the qualification and maintenance of his department, premises and equipment.

22. To ensure that the appropriate validations are done.

23. To ensure that the required initial and continuing training of his department personnel is carried out and adapted according to need.

Highest Qualification: M Pharm/B Pharm-Pharmaceutics
