Job Responsibilities :

- Managing plants. Overall responsible for heading manufacturing activities of fertilizer

- Working with other Vice Presidents (Logistics, Sales, Technical) and manage Production Heads of different units to meet production planning requirements or Production target.

- Responsible for introducing and managing efficiencies including automation at plants, packaging lines, optimization of plant equipment and the timeline for ensuring utilization to meet production and dispatch targets, maintaining required quality and EHS norm.

- Optimizing costs, including labor and process changes to reduce costs, contract manufacturing, etc.

- Working with Unit and Production heads to have regular preventive maintenance programs for the smooth running of all units.

- Will ensure that all plants are running economically, efficiently, while following all environmental regulations

- Functioning from Corporate office, Indore and directly reporting to President -Operation and responsible for General Plant Administration units.

- Daily performance reviewing of each unit and updating to President in the Production & Marketing review meeting.

- To coordinate with the commercial department to facilitate raw-material availability to the individual unit as per production schedule.

- Responsible for all engineering activities related to Production, Maintenance, Process improvements, Quality improvement and improvement in EHS system.

- Review with individual plant heads, maintenance head regarding statutory body compliance.

- Responsible for interdepartmental coordination such as HR, F & A, Marketing at a corporate level.

- Responsible for recruitment of technical persons as and when required.

- Indirect control over Security, weighbridge, an individual unit.

- Managing turnover

- Managing more than 100 persons

Desired Candidate :

Age - 45 to 55 years

Experience - 15 to 30 years

Exp. - Into DAP / NPK

Manpower - 100 plus people will be reporting

CTC - 30 to 35L max.
